- Promote general and mutual interests of the members
- Promote trade through seminars and connecting with other business associations and institutions
- Offer advice on trade and business opportunities in Mauritius, India and Africa
- Work closely with government and industry bodies in Mauritius and India to promote business and trade activities
- Work as a forum to take up the common issues faced by members with government bodies
IBC Fee structure
- Individual members – MUR 6,000 annual subscription
- Corporate members (eligible for two nominees)* –MUR 10,000 annual subscription
- Payable every year at the beginning of the calendar year, subject to regulations adopted by the Committee.
- In addition, an entrance fee of MUR 5000 is payable by an individual member and MUR 15,000 by a Corporate member
